Thus why all those Texas writers are surefire he is going to sign with FSU. They don't want to think that LSU could beat out FSU for a Texas recruit that they couldn't do

I don't know all the inside stuff but for some odd reason this does feel like TJ to me was well.
They both are out of states(i think) recruits that were strong leans to FSU. ME is a commitment, I don't think TJ was. But they both are 5 star ranked players. Both play DL. Both could potentially play early. We became players for both of them late in the game. Brick was all over both.
We have to wait and see but I am not getting to peeked up about this one either. Great pick up if we can reel him in.

I think mario just wanted his arse kissed by FSU and not treated like a lock and they did just that on his official. I don't see us landing him.

I think it's a matter of him being to both FSU and Texas and just liking FSU better of those 2. He hasn't been to LSU so he doesn't want to eliminate us yet. Imo it's the right way to do the recruiting thing. No reason to string along Texas if he knows for sure he isn't going there. I commend the young man for this. It's refreshing. The Texas fans that are going to blast ME Sr are just butthurt. Without him Jr never would've visited Texas. He is the one that wanted MEJ to look around and make sure FSU was the right place for him. He has not pushed MEJ to FSU and pretty much without him Texas would've had no shot at all. ME Sr was thoroughly impressed with Diaz and is thoroughly impressed with Brick Haley. Would you guys rather MEJ string Texas along knowing that he wasn't going there? Imo he is doing it the right way. He likes and prefers FSU over Texas so why waste their time? I know it's hard for Texas fans to understand and wrap their head around but not every kid falls over trying to get on the Longhorn roster. I'm guessing in the next 2 weeks we'll get a pay for play report from somebody on the Texas side. A kid never turns them down unless something shady is going on. Ridiculous.

I don't want to get too excited but if LM has actually convinced not only ME jr but the family to visit this weekend then I think we are in very good shape. I almost feel like LM needs this to happen. He has put in work that's for sure.

the fact he hasnt been to LSU even on an unofficial visit is what leads me to believe he's just coming for some gumbo and will be at FSU
