Marcus said he never talked to Chris Allen about being a Louisiana kid playing for LSU.... But did admit he talked to Allen about playing for Saban.

Based on Marcus's comments there seems to be a glimmer of hope.
The fact that Marcus said LSU is Chris' "dream school" is baffling when he's committed to bama. Hopefully the commitment to bama was an emotional decision made during the coaching changes from Les to O and now that things have stabilized especially with Aranda at the DC/LB coaching helm Chris and his family will seriously reconsider LSU for this path to the NFL.
We need him badly.

Look fellas, I'm not saying that Randall goes to recruits that want to go to LSU and bashes LSU and sets them up with Bama. What I'm saying is this "I want LSU to get everyone" comment is probably a little bit of a stretch. He probably also doesn't bash Bama and try to recruit for LSU. It's documented that several of Saban's ex players are Saban fans. An ex LSU player in this instance, probably doesn't give us a leg up. I'd venture to say that most of us here are bigger LSU fans than Randall. Sure he loves LSU. But he doesn't despise Bama like we do. That's all we're saying here.

Read above post. I don't believe that he is "pushing" as in driving them to Tuscaloosa and moving their things into their dorm. I just don't think that he's exactly an LSU plant.

You're speaking ONLY from a fans perspective, in Randell's position it's about the kids desires.

If it's true that Miles kept former players distanced from the program that is a MAJOR f' up on former CLM's part.
The good news on CEO's part is that he is making an effort to have LSU player alumni personally associate with the team. This is very important especially with alumni like Marcus who can have a huge influence on kids. Coach O has to make an effort to make alumni like Marcus continue to feel connected to the program. Very important.

I hope all the assholes out there that blasted Randall as an anti LSU person sit back and realize that jumping to conclusions and being emotional makes you look like an arse.

name a coach in Louisiana at a powerhouse (yeah lab is a 1a powerhouse) that gets 100% of the players lsu wants to commit....... breaux bridge maybe? Is there a single other school in the state considered an lsu pipeline at this point?

You're trying really hard to make my comments out to be more than they are. I never said "Randall hates LSU and loves Bama." "Randall tries to send all of his players to Alabama!" "Allen is going to Bama because Randall is making him and he's negatively recruiting LSU!"
None of those things are what I said. Others maybe. But not me. I'm simply saying his interview was this morning was more pro-LSU than he probably is. He may like both LSU and Saban having played at LSU and for Saban. He's likely not negative to either one. He probably doesn't give LSU a leg up. You got that or you want to continue to tell me what I actually think?

It does when you consider that dream school is cliche to these kids and doesnt mean the same thing to them that it does to us.
