Mack is lazy and it's hurting texas.

he has gotten a lot lazy and he only wants players who want to be at texas. So he doesn't pursue guys like darius white who want their teammates here. We are lucky that a lot of kids in tx want to be longhorns but you guys and ou steal our recruits. Thats why we horn fans love will cause he will stick with a recruit and so will major. When will beacomes coach he's gonna be a lot more enthusiastic about recruiting.

I could see why Texas fans could be a little disenchanted with Mack's approach.
But in reality, Texas is doing just fine. While Tex A&M is busting their arse trying to recruit a good class, Texas is evaluating prospects for next year, and will again get nearly everyone they offer and leave A&M to fight with others for what is leftover.
I like Les Miles' approach though - wrap up most of the class before the season starts but leave a few spots open for the studs and late bloomers.

what pisses me off is he wont offer rashod favors or sanders in order to get darius white he dreams of playing for us but his teammates wont let him go. The other thing he gives up on a lot of oos prospects to early. trent richardson and terrell pryor.

I think Mack hates recruiting. Thats why his classes are nearly filled by July. He only takes kids that are UT locks and will commit immediately.

he doent pursue kids that have some grade problems or other stuff. Jermie calhou,chrisitine micheal if he had pursued them we wouldnt have runningback problems.

Horn, the problem Texas has is a VERY good problem. You guys have the pick of the litter in the whole state of TX almost. It is so early, that you guys get recruits to sign that have performed extremely well in HS or workouts. I think the problem is 75% of the class is sewn up before these kids are evaluated by a majority of the combines.

Considering Mack has brought Texas back from virtual oblivion of the 80's and 90's and has produced a perennial power with a BCS Championship, what is there not to hate?
