LSU Softball picks up top 2021 Pitcher

Raelin Chaffin gave Beth Torina a verbal tonight.
She currently is ranked #72 on the top 100 rankings. A power pitcher, she has already clocked at 64 and 65 mph.
Already has offers across the SEC. She has a nice curve ball , throws extremely hard.
She won't be the only pitcher taken for the 2021 class, we will likely add one more but fantastic addition addition.
She is developing extremely fast, she took lessons from Brit Mack
Nice to add another stud in the circle

Thanks for the update. It is absolutely crazy to think "lsu softball is set up until 2025 with pitching". Everything happens so early these days in recruiting. Arms race I guess.

It's now a norm for high school freshman to commit to college. A lot of these girls are being evaluated at the age of 12 too.
It's crazy but today if you want a chance for the top prospects you have to start early.
