If someone like Gary moves from New Jersey to Baton Rouge, what do we call him?

I could never understand how a black kid would go to Ole Miss. Nothing against any of you tea baggers on this site, but I think slavery pretty much still exist in Oxford. Oxford is old white money southern... Pre civil war southern. Again...no offense to any tea baggers on this site.
Dude, what?

Nah, that's Fox's character on "Horrible Bosses", would be too copy-catish IMO..

Where have you heard this? I'm not doubting it but I want to know what in the hell is going on over there to get these kids to go to Ole Miss. They HAVE to be cheating.
It's just stuff you hear from people around the MS area that might have a little inside info. I'm not telling anyone that anything is for sure happening, just what I have been told from several people who would have some access to that kind of information.
I also have been told that the main way the money is being transferred by Ole Miss to the players is through their churches. Sort of like the Cam Newton ordeal at Auburn was done. It makes it way harder to prove the player had any knowledge of "where the money was actually coming from". Any booster could "visit" the players church and leave a very big "donation" in the offering plate and that church could then give it to the player to "help him get through school". As far as the player knows, the money he got came from church donations.

I honestly could care less how they do it because it won't stop and almost every college does it
But GEAUX Tigers
But GEAUX Tigers

I agree LSU needs to step up its game and bring in some top notch bagmen. The NCAA of the 80s is long gone. Neutered. Bama and Ole Miss recognize the new reality.

It only stops when the NCAA loses money from it. Say for instance, Ole Miss becomes an actual powerhouse and starts keeping Bama out of the playoffs repeatedly. They would step in and do something because more people are going to tune in to a championship that has Bama in it way more than they will if it has Ole Miss. Much larger fan base = much larger viewing audience = much more money for the NCAA and ESPN.

So you're saying Bama not only pays the recruits, but also pays the NCAA?

How does the NCAA make money off Division I football? It doesn't participate in any of the TV deals, playoff or bowl games. I'm just curious.

It will only stop if they are blatantly caught. Even then (see tunsil's free 'rental' car) you may not see anything come from it.
You have to have someone get mad and admit they took money.

It is safe to assume that Michigan and Ole Miss are indeed his top two right now
What in the world has happened to make top players even put Ole Miss in the same breath as Michigan and LSU? Their two best teams EVER haven't even won an SEC West title.
