Yeah just saying the way that LSU fricked up the Sentimore situation might've factored into the offers to those 2 this year.

I'm pretty sure Parker is visiting in January but I may be wrong

He scheduled a visit to LSU a long time ago and will be her on the 23rd.

Can anyone verify this? Please say yes.

I haven't seen anything half-way reliable about him visiting yet but I hope he does. If we're really his top team, I'd expect to get a visit soon.

Sentimore was good enough for other schools to come calling. Bates and Blackmon not so much.

What about Sentimore was similar?
Not saying Sentimore is similar to either one of those guys. I was saying did the slow playing of Sentimore which was the #1 reason why he didn't come to LSU the reason that Les reached on those 2 players this eyar. Fearing if he slow played he would end up whiffing again? Not saying either are as good as Sentimore.

Good skiing if nothing else, right?
Good academic school with a party atmosphere...really a shame they cannot play football.

You can apparently get away with rape there.

And also go in as the top ranked RB in the country and become one of the biggest flops in football being beat out by a fellow freshman (a 2 star i believe).

The 5 star flops typically aren't even the guys that lack physical skills. They are just mentally all wrong.
D. Scott probably won't even finish playing D1 football. It happens every year--guys become head cases.

Aren't 5* athletes presumed physically mature and developed? Many may have reached their peak in HS, physically at a young age. Some kids mature later and may pass the 5* in development both physically and on the field.

To a degree it is about being able to step in from day 1 and contribute, but more than anything it is about them having elite talent that projects past the college level and into the professionals.
A 5 star talent should stand out no matter who they are playing at the high school level and they should already be an above average college player when they enter as a freshman.
Basically, they are the ones that should be locks to play in the pros. College is solely a stepping stone. However, there are always busts out of the 5 stars. Typically about 1/2 don't make it to the pros.

Scott came into fall camp out of shape and basically never got out of Hawkins' dog house..could not decipher if he has D-1 talent because he ran the ball less than 5 times a game!
