how would LSU go about increasing their recruiting budget over $600k? Raise ticket prices? Donations? I guess I dont understand how we can be so far behind Auburn, Tenn. & Alabama with the recruiting budget

We were kinda hoping you'd just pick up the tab

The end result of the episode was they hoped LSU did great but also wished the best for Bama as well.

Take what you want from this story.

for the better part of valor, I'll refrain from posting my opinion of Monroe...

bama spends that money because they have to.

they dont have the talent available to them so close to campus like LSU does. it costs more money for UA to recruit nationwide than it does for LSU to recruit in new orleans and the river parishes.

we sign most of our kids from Tx, La, Florida.

Bama gets thier kids from VA, CA, all over the map.

If our staff needed more recruiting money, they could get it. What they need to do is maximize what they ARE spending. By doing that, they need to put someone in NLa that can recruit his arse off.

yea, rumored to be. some think stud is gone.

We are getting outworked in NLa. There may be more to it like shady shite, who knows. But no one can deny we are getting outworked. It has to be addressed. Bama sucess is tough enough to recruit against, we cant afford to get outworked in our own state. We can't win recruiting battles when we come up short on the field and get outworked on the trail.

Shea reporting good things from the in home with Hootie, but said he doesn't know if it is enough. Also says Bama is trying to get an in home with Hootie for Tuesday which could be pretty telling.

Funny how no one mentions all the other top recruits leaving state for other schools...just ones to bama

Because LSU didn't exactly need them
