Question, and this is not a flame in any way, is there speculation that Bama may drop him? It had been said on a MSU board that Bama may be moving on and Ole Miss may pick him up. All of this was pre-injury.

I have heard the same thing about Mississippi state still staying in contact with Faciane. It seems that Bama thinks they are going to get the #1 TE prospect in the nation out of Florida.

We won't be dropping Faciane for any reason, certainly not because he was injured. Now, he may decide to head elsewhere when all is said and done, but LSU was the only other school he ever mentioned.

I think Faciane will be it at TE for Alabama in the 2011 class. Alabama is still after Jay Rome and Nick O'Leary, but I highly doubt either of them end up at Alabama. Rome is most likely heading to Georgia or Clemson, and O'Leary will state somewhere in the state of Florida.

Aren't you the dipshit that was ragging on LSU for picking Collins up due to MSU/Ole Piss not offering? Like LSU has never had success with under the radar DBs, two of which on the team right now are performing at All-SEC levels...

I didnt rag, I just said he wasnt on any of the top 25 lists from Mississippi going into this summer. He has been performing good for Olive Branch this year after transfering from DeSoto Central.

It always seems like Scott Samsel's underrated players end up being the better ones. Rod Woodson was pretty hyped when he signed with Alabama, but Darren Bates, who was lightly recruited, ended up being the better player. Justin Woodall, who signed with Alabama as well, was pretty hyped up too. While he started for three years, he was never quite the player his rating suggested he would be.

Dont forget MSU's Starting LB, KJ Wright, and Ole Miss starting WR, Markeith Summers both Olive Branch alums.
