Talent wise, probably the best pg in the state. If I was starting a team, he would be my first pick. If you ever get a chance to see Port Allen High play, you will be convinced.

He was a Rivals 150 player and LSU recruited him, but he had academic issues and signed with ULM.
TJ said in a Rivals article today that he was confident that LSU would sign at least two more players. I have to believe that Coleman is one of those, but I have no idea who the other is.
In looking at the known list, I don't really feel strongly about any of them, either because LSU is not really interested, or vice-versa. Which solidifies my earlier comment that LSU would likely sign someone off the radar. (off my radar, not neccesarily off the college basketball radar).

It is so frustrating trying to follow Trent in recruiting because the most information is in this 1 thread and if he is going outside of that list then no one had any idea about the player and LSU.

I truly believe LSU will finish with Milburn, Coleman & A Post Player .

Depending on who the post player is, I would take that. Needs to be someone big enough and good enough to play 4 and 5 and replace Hamilton.
I keep hoping LSU will recruit Valentine Izundu of Houston. Raw center, committed to Houston in fall, but never signed. Shot blocker, but needs work in offense. I think he will be big time. Teammate of Wanaah Bail.

Don't know. Very quiet recruitment.

Has Jason Carter or Orlando Sanchez visited yet?

I am pretty sure they have not, but don't know for sure.

Bubba:
With Bail off the board and TJ saying 2 more guys are gonna sign, any idea who the big man we sign is? I am with you in assuming one of the two is the JUCO wing, so wondering if there was any idea who the big man would be.

I don't know. I have a few calls and emails out trying to get some info.
I really don't think we are in it for Orlando Sanchez. I don't know that for a fact, but recent articles don't list us. Jason Carter was having a nice JUCO season, but is out for the year with a knee injury, but I don't know how serious.
I'm really at a loss. There is not a single person on the list that I am tracking (which I admit is certainly incomplete) that I feel confidant LSU will sign. The only possible exception is Shavon Coleman. Trent seems confident, which confirms that I am probably missing some people.

Thanks for keeping this thread going.
I'm going wait and see what this recruiting class brings. My feeling is that TJ is not the guy for this program. Too much in state talent going elsewhere. I hope he proves me wrong and finishes with a strong class. He is very secret about recruiting.

Apparently Wanaah Bail, and his teammate Mike Carey, both have a "handler" and academic issues and many schools backed off of them, including local University of Houston. Both have attended multiple high schools and will have a tough time getting eligible.
Both are from the Bahamas.

I think the tigers need to sign 4 this class, with Morgan already signed, I think Coleman is a must get along with another player like Guy or Hammick with a post player, they need size and scoring punch who can create on their on, and that leaves them 3 guys to sign in 2013.

After seeing the film on Hammink I am excited about him. A 6'6" guard who can dribble would be super clutch. He didn't look like he had pg dribbling, but he looked like he had a nice stroke. Could easily play 1-3 immediately. Would be a great backup G as a freshman.

Looks very long and athletic. Wouldn't be surprised if he still has some growth left.

a class of Morgan, Hammick, Coleman & Carter would be a really nice class.

Carter is out for the season with a knee injury. Not sure of his status.
