Javontae Hawkins committed to USF. I really liked him as a player. I was hoping LSU would be more involved.
I am considering adding Gathers back on the recruiting list. I don't really hold out any true hope for LSU to sign him, but you just never know. He supposedly was at the Auburn game.

I don't think that Gathers wil be attending LSU. According to this link, he attended St John's "Midnight Madness" celebration.

Well he is still committed to them, so that is no surprise. Still doesn't mean he couldn't pull a signing day surprise. (I'm not confident in that happening, at all).

Kentucky is cooling on him and we lead. He has been to 2 football games at State for unofficials.

I'm going to add Ricardo Gathers back to the recruiting list if he doesn't sign with St. Johns.

This is nothing but good for LSU. Now, Trent Johnson has an opportunity to put together a good season and impress Gathers, as well as other recruits. If he fails to do that, there is still an opportunity for the new coach to sign Gathers.

Added back Gathers and threw in Louis Dabney, just for the hell of it.
I am keeping an eye on the signings today. If anyone notices a signee that is on this list that I can remove, let me know.

Same here. Dabney is a very nice player in his own right, and until we see Hickey play we aren't sure what we have at point guard anyway. Having depth at point guard is never a bad thing.
