I think there is only one senior receiver on the roster this year.

need to balance in some guys who can run especially if we can't get Tyron. We can't have an entire group of 6'4 WR/TE tweeners.

agreed. i think we WANT johnson, ferguson, strickland and no. 4 (still to be decided by staff). if we get the 3 above then i think we go for a 6 ft. slot type guy and not chatman or chigbu.

Stanley Morgan does have an offer. Got the offer last month.

Chigbu is a must get IMO. Why do you think hes an TAMU lean Vermillion? Just curious. Havent heard much from his side in regards to recruiting and favorites.

how can chigbu be a must get and he has not been offered? some quality wrs will be left out of the LSU class this year. starting to think chigbu will not make the cut.

Ferguson, Johnson, Strickland, and maybe Chatman/Chigbu. This would be huge and I hope it happens.

Uhh you realize we are just now starting to offer a lot of the 2015 kids?? And just because we havent offered him yet, doesnt mean hes not a big time prospect / recruit.

How is he a must get? Go watch him play and thatll tell you everything you need to know. 1 of the most physical WRs in the entire nation for 2015 with great hands.

Another poster said Chigbu is the 2nd best WR in the state behind Johnson. And I agree with that.

And he will get his offer.

The staff obviously feels otherwise.

the staff is clearly looking at big wr. that puts chigbu further down the line. 2 sports go to 6'4 wrs, and 1 spot for johnson and that leaves 1 spot for everyone else. odds don't favor chigbu.

I agree the staff is going after big WRs.

And Chigbu is 6'2 210lbs. Hes a physical specimen for a WR. Plenty big enough.

Don't forget Dillon is a take as an ATH. Not sure where he will line up, but you can't let that kind of talent walk.

No Dillion is absolutely in. The reason people don't talk more about him is he is an "ath". If he was projected as a pure wide out he would be near the top.

I don't think Dillion should play cb just like I didn't think Brazil should've, too elusive and too much breakaway speed for defense

Just reporting what I read

quote:

Dillon did register 29 tackles with three interceptions and caused four fumbles while playing limited time at cornerback and safety, the former where LSU is recruiting him following last Saturday's "Boys from the Boot" recruiting function.

so, we want toliver, lewis and dillon at cb. that's a ton of talent at cb considering we took paris in 2014 and already offered fulton for 2016.

Dillon would likely be taken as an athlete, which means they would place him wherever he is most needed and can get on the field the soonest.

Not all of our signees talents come to fruition, and even some that were four or five star "can't miss" talents. You have to shoot a bit over for each position and let things shake out.

I was never high on brazil, as indicated by my post history, and was scorned for it. Of course there are others that exceed expectations. The best kids know they will have to work for their spot, are confident in their abilities and NOT afraid to go heads up with the best. They know if they win their starting position at LSU odds are they will be cashing a NFL check in the future.
