Louisiana high school coaching legend Charlie Brown passes away

Legendary Neville High School football coach Charlie Brown passed away around 2pm this afternoon. 30 years of coaching, 263 wins,67 loses, 6 ties...more importantly was that he influenced the lives of so many people.

I heard he was in the hospital. Hate to see him go. At least he got to watch them win one a couple of years ago.

Wow. What sad news. Charlie was one of the most influential coaches in La prep football history. An old school ex-marine who kept things simple and just motivated his young men to out work the others. He'll be missed.
