Not if you passed over someone else that would actually play. But that's why I trust Jay to shoot the shots he wants. Those have to be tough risk/reward decisions and I'm not at all criticizing anything.

That’s what happened to Jay. I forgot who he passed on, but I believe they ended up having a pretty good year.

This. A few years ago we had Pineda, Young, Guidry and Romero all committed. You are not going to be able to add anything else with that commit list. Only one guy made it to school and he’s been a pitcher….

It nearly put us in a terrible spot, too. I think it was that year that Jay basically said SS is what it is because there is nobody else they can play there.
