All these people crying cause of no 5 star and one recruit flipping... This class is more about need and depth.... We are loaded with underclass talent for the next few years... Who cares if we lose out on a top 5 class this year....All these negatigers showIng up cause of 1/9... It's so funny to watch all this go on cause all it will take is winning next year and all This goes away...

I find it ironic that Gunner Kiel lost the top WR recruit in ND to Houston... shite happens i guess.

As for Davis vs. Alexander, I would have preferred the instate kid with higher ranking nationally...

Alexander is rated higher than Davis on scout.

He was ranked in the top 80 on rivals before the injury (higher than Davis).

Bottom line is you don't know what you have until you try to coach them up. We do know that both kids are very talented and have a great shot at being productive at the next level.

Looking more like an Ole Miss Class than an LSU class

We went with need. I trust Frank Wilson. Kwon > Davis. And Corey Thompson is very underrated.

Kwon is one of my favorite players in this class. So long as he gets healthy (don't see why he wouldn't), I think he's a top 10 talent in this class.

I never dreamed he'd wind up at LSU.

He is Chavis' kind of LB. Smaller and really fast to the ball. He will be special.

Agreed, we needed LBs and DBs. We lost 2 LBs and we will possibly lose 3 from the defensive secondary next year. We covered those needs.

Without the injury, I have no doubt he would have been 5* recruit - if healthy, he's the perfect LB for Chavis' system.

Davis, whom I very much wanted in this class, is an uncertain projection, depending on his physical development. While I think he is a great football player, IF that's the trade-off, I'll take it.

Kwon Alexander, if healthy, is exactly what we need right now.

(And I hate losing the top 3 players in the state other programs, but, it happens).
