I hope he works up there Miles in Football is good for everyone. Just think if he would have waited a little longer that after Snyder left K State would have fit him even better. Manhattan is a lot easier to recruit plus more of a Football school. Anyway Les is a winner and it may take more time but guy has young blood and if anything he will ”Dinardo” the program in the right direction.

He’s got several but dudes that would otherwise be going to Arkansas or La Tech.
Although apparently they offered Ashaad.

I missed that. That would suck for them. I’ll bet Les sorts it out.

Yeah it was not good but apparently he’s in diversion I’d imagine they make him sit a game or two to Start the year and reinstate him in a Kansas team vote.

Just to provide some context, they’re only ranked that high because they have a ton of commits. Average player rating is 83, which is the lowest in the top 50 by a pretty wide margin aside from North Texas. And his highest rated commit is 500th in the overall rankings. They’re poised to sit around the 50-60 spot where they normally are by the end of the cycle

I guess if you assume that none of his player's rankings change for the better or that he doesn't get better players towards the end of the cycle.

Nah didn’t you know, that’s only LSU who gets commits from 3* who will be raised to 4*
And Kansas is not allowed to recruit in the fall so miles is stuck with the class as it is now, today.
So many hypocrites on this board LOL!

Les just needs to get capable bodies in that program. Dont think they even had a full team of scholarship players when he took over

Why exactly would you assume that every one of his players rankings are going to go up when they could also drop? Not sure if you understand basic stats or not, but it’s not usually a smart idea to depend on a uniform change upward or downward across a sample size of 25+. He doesn’t coach at LSU anymore, there’s no reason to think he’ll get the favorable “big program” rankings bump anymore.

Again, why would you assume this? Can you name some highly rated players that Kansas has a legitimate shot at landing, after they’ve already signed 19 low 3 stars or worse? Are you actually expecting them to close out their class with six 4/5 stars or what?
I wish people like you would go back to the rant, this isn’t the board to delusionally disagree with logic and statistics because they hurt your feelings. Y’all are ruining the recruiting board.

Most of the 3* players that we, and most SEC schools for that matter, sign are borderline 4*’s ranked in the top 500-600. We have five 3*’s in this class and they would be ranked #1, 3, 4, 5, and 6 in Kansas’ class of 19. So yea, the kids that LSU signs are a lot more likely to be bumped to 4*’s than a bunch of kids who are committed to Kansas and ranked outside of the top 1000 overall.
I can’t imagine being so in love with a guy who coached at my school 3 years ago to completely ignore reality and punch a hole in my computer screen because someone points out facts that anyone who understands the recruiting game would agree with.

and I can't understand being so traumatized by a guy who coached at my alma mater 3 years ago to want to try and throw a bucket of cold water on his recruiting class.
For christs sakes man, a freaking actual KU fan showed up in the thread and was like, uhhh this is awesome.

It's the fact that you make a statement like this in June with any sort of confidence. What if Les got all of these lower guys as the "foundation" of his class, thus allowing him to try and close out the class with some "home run" guys who may have not otherwise previously committed to KU.
but no, that would be entirely too far fetched, right? LITERALLY no one would ever come play for Miles at Kansas, that's why he has a commitment from players from 11 different states.

By pointing out facts? I don’t have a personal vendetta against Miles, it just irks me to watch people completely ignore reality. You’re the one letting your personal feelings toward him get in the way of the reality of the situation.

Their class is almost full. Like, they have 6 spots left. Even if they signed 100% “home runs” by Kansas standards, they’d still be ranked outside of the top 40 by years end, and they’re probably not going to finish with 6 home runs.

I’ll bump this thread in January and we can see who’s living in reality- the guy basing his opinion on facts, statistics and 11 years of watching recruiting classes unfold, or the guy coming up with ridiculous scenarios where Kansas randomly signs 6 five stars to close out their class because they’ve been filling their class with low-3*’s, which is somehow an indicator in your mind that they’re just setting themselves up to explode at the end of the cycle. Just a ridiculous level of delusion on this website, but again, we can revisit this in January
