Collis Temple said Early Doucet was the best 8th grade basketball player in Louisiana. He never grew another inch and is around the same size today as he was in 8th grade.

I also have one other concern. I hope he does not get worn down putting alot of mileage on his young body. I like running backs that are late bloomers and have little wear and tear on their body.

True. Lets just accept he is a beast and move on.

basketball is a much different.
size matters a lot less in fooball.
This kid is legit. THe thing that has to happen with him like any big 9th grader(esp at RB), is make sure they dont pack to much muscle on him. He needs to gain strength and keep his speed, as well as his flexibility without getting to bulky, the way Hilliard has.
As a SR you dont want him any more than 220 or 225.

He needs to be featured the way Mark Ingram and L. James at Oregan and it wont hapeen at LSU
Ridley only has 20 less carries than L. James
he is featured just as much. He just isnt nearly as good.
And Ridley averages 4 more carries per game than Mark Ingram does. Again, he just isnt nearly as talented.

Thanks for the link. If Lenny is #5, he's awesome, and already looks like a man amongst boys.

You missed the point its not the stats its the system everyone knows LSU can't pass its been that way for a few years so of course Ridley will be faced with a full box most of the time

You're an idiot. I pray that you are no where near this kid.
Now on topic, kid isn't getting touched until he hits the secondary on most runs but he does look exceptionally strong and explosive.
In the words of Sammoblie he is Lsu's AP.

DO you not watch LSU games they cannot pass atleast not on a consistent basis...do you agree???? If teams knew they had to actually game plan for JJeff or JLee, Ridley wouldn't be faced with a stacked d-line and also who runs an option in the SEC C'Mon Lsu that is why JJeff almost got killed vs Bama. Ridley is a real good back majority of his yds are after initial contact at the line of scrimmage...example he had to power through 2 Tenn players to win that game and the reason the 4th down play was successful vs Bama because if you watched an LSU game you would see in short yd they almost always go to a power formation and that is why the misdirection worked liked a charm....have a nice day and be sure to watch a game homie
Geaux LSU

Sorry I can't interpret jive and run-on sentences. But I do know LSU has put 3 RBs in the NFL since 05. Also this year will make 3 years out of 4 that LSU has had a 1000 yard rusher.

Not sure where you are getting your opinions, but Miles loves his running backs and they get tons, tons of opportunities to shine. Charles Scott had a monster year in 2008. And you're talking about Ingram, but he splits time with T. Richardson. And what if T. Richardson was your friend? Would you be upset that he has to sit behind Ingram? And James in Oregon has no competition because all the other running backs are injured, and Ridley still gets more carries than him.
And as for Shepard and Randle, we have no QB this year. Louisina hasn't produced a good QB since RP. However, with Mettenberger coming in and some development of S. Rivers and whoever comes in after that, the passing game will get better. When we had a good QB, Tolliver, LaFell and Byrd had good numbers. And by the way, RS and RR are both sophmores. They have plenty of time.

Yeah, this guy is good. Real good. Great future.
Thanks for the all video links. (even though I watched all of Shaw before I re-read your post telling me not to)
(Oh, and the Eddie Long thing wasn't initially planned to go that route. I couldn't find a pic of his "reverend" dad, so I just started generically googling bishops. Then I saw Eddie Long. I wasn't gonna use him for the obvious "It's unrelated to Cam" reasons, then I thought who cares if it's unrelated. So basically I went with Eddie just because I don't know any other bishops. Plus, Eddie holding a kid is just funny, much less in an Auburn snuggie.)
