I've got to believe that LC will ultimately be a Tiger. Why would anyone (born in La) drag the entire state through this process only to pull a Bama hat at the end? If he was going to Bama I would hope that he would have ended this long ago and the LSU fanbase would have moved on. There would have to be some LSU hate going on and I don't see it w/in his family. I also refuse to believe that his gf's family could ultimately decide his future. Hope to see him in P&G!

trying to guess where a kid will commit based on how early or late in the process he is committing is nothing more than a 50/50 guess. When a kid commits means absolutely nothing.

Whatever he decides to do will not make or break this program! We'll still have a great defensive backfield and a great defensive backs coach! I hope he's a Tiger for alot reasons but if not,
c'est la vie and LC's Tiger Bait!

I don't believe you understand the ego of some of these 18 year old kids.

You also apparently don't understand how impressionable an 18 year old kid is either.

I feel like if he was coming to LSU he's have done it. Waiting this long only makes it seem more of a lock for Bama. I hope I am wrong, but I feel like he ends up choosing Bama for all the wrong reasons.

I guess I'm in the minority, because I'd be surprised if he didn't pick LSU.

Its a tough read. Among the things ive seen on this forum over the past month regarding LC:

- He's been around the LSU program a ton, visited a lot unofficially, and the one time he went to T-Town on his official it was to see Bama vs LSU (it would be interesting to see who he was applauding during that game)

- Saban has visited LC 4 or 5 times to Miles' one time

- he talks about Bama and wears Bama gear; fellow DTown students tend to feel Bama is leading

- his GF is all Bama and got a crimson fluer de lis tat with LC chairside (posted by a gump)

- his family wants him to go to LSU

- he's close with several LSU football players, including Reid.

I dunno. its damn near a toss up if all things are equal. of course a lot of this info is unconfirmed and likely not credible.

From following him on Twitter, I would be surprised if he DOESNT commit to Bama and Saint Nick. Bama is all over his gf and twitter comments. Not one sign of LSU. Unfortunately I fear that where there is smoke, there's a fire on this one. I hope I'm wrong obviously.

If he commits to Bama, its all because of Lacy, not Saban. He talks to him every night. But word is that he is going to Bama as of this moment. But all that could change if he has a change of heart and he wants to play close to home.

well he has supposedly made up his mind. If he wasn't going to lsu, you would think he would go ahead and comitt to bama so lsu could get in on another safety instead of stringing us along.

At the end of the day, if he goes to Bama, he'll be turning his back on his family, his hometown, and his childhood friends. I think if he's that way, and we don't get him, we could be dodging a bullet. There was a great wailing and gnashing of teeth when Janzen went to Tennessee.

I think LC will be a Tiger. If he's not, he better make it work in Tuscaloosa, because he won't be welcome back.

If I play in the secondary and one of my good friends were playing at Bama, there is no doubt I will be going there. Saban is great and was always great with the secondary. Wasnt til recent that LSU became the school with big time secondary players.

Nobody should fault this kid and say he turned his back on his family if he chooses Bama.

Bama makes no sense to me. They have Clinton Dix- 5 star last year and Eddie Williams-5 star this year at safety. They still have Lester for one more year and then have Sunseri who they like too(freshman).

Thats a very crowded Saftey position.

At LSU he could come in and start instantly next to Reid or share time with Loston.

This is really childish of me, but I don't think I would be so pissed about him choosing any other school except Alabama. It's just those bastards are already so arrogant, I don't want them to beat LSU at anything.

I can hear them Gumps now crowing about stealing a Louisiana 5* recruit.

I too feel that he is announcing at the UA game to avoid making the announcement in the state of Louisiana. Which leads me to believe he's Bama bound.

I won't follow his committment like I did Gunner's, because I will be depressed if he chooses Bama.

Bruh, Eric Reid hasn't exactly been a scrub here. Reid is another Dutchtown guy. Coop >>> Saban. We crush the Thorpe and Bednarik. If he bails on his people, that's his decision and his life. It will be the kind of decision he can't undo.

The coach at D-Town needs to be replaced with a coach who sends his players to LSU. Seems like he is a pipe-line to Bama.

Ignorant statement. Saia has no beef with LSU. This isn't a problem with Geismar, it's one guy being torn between his roots and his girl.

Not really, we passed on Lacey because of grades.
