Lache will be a 3 year player. Maybe...maybe, Auburn will be competitive in year 3. They are going 6-6 this year w/ no apparent QB for the future. Lache would be making a very bad choice going to Auburn.

As for Reed, he needs to decide if he wants to go out of state or not. A Louisiana kid, who LSU wants, needs to make clear he's going elsewhere. It's one thing to not choose the school where 90% of your high school fanbase (you know, your supporters) are passionate about. It's another thing to toy with that school.

I'm not saying every Louisiana kid has to pick LSU. But if it's your choice to go out of state, make that clear. Don't act like your really comparing a shite-bag school like Auburn with LSU and picking Auburn because spending four years on the Plains is just too great to pass on.

I hope Reed picks LSU but if he's going the way of the Barn, he needs to just tell folks he's eliminated LSU.

You may be right. However,

quote:

I loved everything about the visit and the school. I wanted to see the hill. Thats the first thing I wanted to see. I just feel like that is where I want to be. I feel at home at Clemson. I know I will get a chance to play early. They didn't know anything about me, and I put myself out there to them. I like the way they play, I like their style and I think I would fit in well with their defense. My coach talked with Coach (Billy) Napier and he told me to call coach Bowden. I called him and he wasn't available so I called him back in 10 minutes. I told him I wanted to come to Clemson. He was pretty excited. I am going to take some other visits, but I am firm. I think Clemson is going to be my final destination. I am excited. I am ready to go. I can't wait to get there."

Craig Loston, on his commitment to Clemson

quote:

"I liked LSU's tradition. The tradition really is rich there. It's not too far from home and that's a big plus. They just won a national championship. They really showed a lot of interest in recruiting me. It wasn't just nonchalant. It was real interest. I liked that about them. I've been a fan of (LSU) for a long time. They have a great athletic program. There's no question about how great their program and academics are."

Janzen Jackson, on his commitment to LSU

Of course, Loston did the right thing by being upfront about his change of mind.

i agree that you can't trust every thing a 17/18 year old kid says. and i'm not saying they are dishonest but they may really feel this way at the time but they are young things can change; however, the thing about both of the those players is they had head coaching changes which steered their commitment change...i dont see that happenign with either LSU or AU.

Nevertheless we still get both.

... and it was here I was told that saying things like Tuscaloser and "Barn" were washed out. Anyways, Auburn does have an apparent QB for the future and his name is Tyrik Rollison. Ask any Auburn fan and most likely that is what they will tell you.

Why would Lache come to LSU when he can go to a program with massive offensive innovation like Auburn??

funny how you guys suck on offense all year long and beat a bad Auburn team and now you consider your offense to be the Greatest Show on Turf.

Ouch, I sense a lot of pain in that post. Kind of reminds me how funny it is that AU fans thought all year that their offense was the Greatest Show on Turf and now you realize that you just suck............ again.

I am not keeping my hopes up for Seastrunk or Reed, but I do not believe a win or lose really determines which school they are going to. Look at Tennessee, they are 3-4 and still have the recruits. We are 5-3. They know Chris Todd will be gone and Tyrik Rollison is going to be the QB and Michael Dyer is coming on board. So to answer your question, I do not feel like it changes anything after the game.

ok, you have no confidence that you will get Reed. thanks.

next question. do the auburn folks believe that it is a given that TR and LS will attend the same school?

No, Lache was ours to lose before the game. Nothing changed that.

LSU will get BOTH LS and Reed.

Sorry, but that is exactly what will happen.

I just have not seen him ever name LSU his leader like he has Auburn. Our running game is better suited for him and we have better production. If you take out Shep's TD run, you guys averaged 1.7 yards a carry.

And if you take out Shep's touchdown, we still win by 14, what's your point?
