What do they expect coaches leave all the time? He isn’t taking the fricking offense with him damn.

Y'all kill me with this shite. Yall act like Brady has experience and LSU has been king of the mountain for years. This is not what usually happens. Brady has almost zero experience as OC, had a 5th year senior QB, is 30, and the offense was loaded with talent and experience. It was the perfect storm for him to come in, drop some of that modern knowledge, and make him seem like a God.

He is taking the offense. Ensminger wasn't running this shite last year. All you can do is hope O strikes gold again.

Our main competition is supposedly Georgia. He clearly doesn’t give a frick about high powered offenses if he’s considering them

UGA has consistently gotten top QBs even running an okay offense. Murray was a 5 star, I think Stafford was a 5 star, Eason was the #1 QB, 5 star. Fromm was the #3 pro style (top 50 recruit IIRC), and Fields was the #2 overall QB, 5 star.

LSU DOES NOT GET THOSE GUYS LIKE THAT. We got Harris who was a top 50 recruit because he was a longtime LSU fan and a Louisiana boy to the soul. That was it! Before that it was Ryan Perriloux the star QB back in what was it, 05/06 class?

LSU has to scrap and claw their way to a top level QB from high school, UGA doesn't. Fromm came right after 5 star starter Jacob Eason. Fields came right after top 50 recruit and starter Fromm.

What does this even mean? He's taking every copy of the playbook and erasing all the hard drives?

You don't think anyone else in the building knows that offense now? Brady is a very bright guy who helped design a phenomenal offense, but you're acting like no other coach had a hand in this or was capable of comprehending it for future use.

So you expect the offense to keep rolling along despite the main guys who helped make it do that leave? No I do not expect guys on this staff to do what he did, gameplan like he did. I hope there is a chance we can snag Graham Harrell away from USC.

If they do then blow the whole thing up because it won’t be about team, the school the state it’s only about Brady. Honestly if a kid says I want to come but only if whoever will be there while I’m there, they need to find somewhere else To go and find out the world does t work that way!

Dude committed to USC first.
No reason to talk about being lied to.
Joe Brady was offered a job not one person would turn down.
As much as I hate to lose him, it’s a no brainer. Dude just got offered a jackpot, anyone of us would have said yes.
We’re still national champions. Finished last year #6. If that’s not reason enough to play at LSU then your heart is just not in it.

You people act like the current staff is going to get amnesia and forget the offense that they install. The offense does not disappear when a coach leaves. Otherwise, one would think that the West Coast Offense would have died with Bill Walsh.

So he built a self-destruct into the playbooks? Brady had never called an offensive football game in his life before this year. It’s well known that he, Ensminger and Munoz worked together to gameplan and call plays. If Munoz is promoted, then they will continue running with the same playbook.

I’m not saying that losing Brady is no big deal, but you are fricking crazy if you think we won’t be running the same system next year. Unless E retires and we hire a completely new OC, a full offensive overhaul is not happening.

Exactly. It’s like someone coming to your office and installing a different type of software. If that person then leaves, does your qualified, professional staff suddenly forget how to operate said software??

Enjoy the Natty and Brady. . . TYFYS!!

I don’t care what anyone says. Brady leaving right after signing an extension was dirty. I’m sure he’s made promises to recruits and that a few signed because they wanted to play in his system. The truth is that Burreaux and other athletes made him, not the other way around

It was an MOA signed a couple days before the title game to limit distractions in the locker room. From what I've heard, a lot of people still expected him to go to the NFL, hence the NFL language in the MOA.

He did this nearly a month after the first signing day, during which time he didn't have an NFL offer, and a month before the second one. I'm not sure how you can even connect those things.

And this folks is why you commit to your school of choice and where you will be for a very important 3 to 4 years of your life! No guarantees any other person will be there with you so follow your heart and not a coach who is looking out for his best interest just like all of us. At the end of the day, it’s a business whether we like it or not!
