what a signing feat for miles winston would be. he wouldn't have to change a thing that he used this year, and could run those beloved options to his hearts delight.

Not that stars matter, but according to his Rivals profile he is a 2* and doesn't even have any offers from the schools listed. That's not a good sign.

Forget Briscoe, go get Winston.

If we take Winston or Alford, we need another QB because of the MLB shadow - Winston less likely than Alford, but still a decent chance he takes the money and runs.

JJ was a dual-less threat qb. Piss poor thrower and crappy runner.
chucking up jump balls to tim molton, dump off passes to demarius johnson, and handoffs to jerico nelson in high school didnt impress you?

Do you realize that JJ wasn't even a "running QB"? That's one of the reasons he was so garbage. He was a pro-style QB trying to run the option.

This is what is so astounding. He was a pocket passer in high school, yet his throwing mechanics were horrible and he couldn't read a defense for shite.

Freshman Stephen Rivers, the brother of San Diego Chargers' quarterback Phillip Rivers, is also highly regarded in Baton Rogue.
Who regards Rivers highly? All Ive heard on this board is negatives about Rivers.

Miles and Krags did stop on the way back from visiting with Kiel to see Winston. Brief visit - couple hours - but there is a relationship there..

I agree with Prom. Winston did not impress me in the UA game. Not sure about Briscoe though.

A lot of people on here have been down on Rivers since before he got here. It is highly possible they will be wrong.

I dont eval film of recruits all that often. What is it exactly that makes people down on Rivers? His throwing motion? Too skinny? Terrible competition?

LMAO!! Les Miles, Is that you?!?! Yeah, go by what he did in one all-star game, compared to what he did for his whole HS career(Not to mention the camps). Yeah that's how you evaluate talent!..lol

Exactly what did you want to see? I think he did good to be playing against elite DL that always have an advantage in these all-star games while only working with the WR for only a week.
