Yeah I think he has other motives than seeing what Texas has to offer. And recruiting for LSU is definitely another motive, but for us a Loyal, "Hey come to LSU motive". He has already picked his #.

He's been talking to herman for months. Texas mods in December said Vincent was telling lsu all the right things but also telling the Texas coaching staff he was interested in texas. This could be like a phillips situation.

Totally agree. Never comfortable with these excursions and attempts to excuse them. Highly doubtful he's there to recruit for LSU. And if he were, wouldn't Herman be sharp enough to shut that crap down? Likely to hurt more than help, really.

It wasn't last minute some guy on Texas bol board said he already knew he was coming and I'm pretty sure they staff knew about it. I'm not worried about Vincent he has been a great advocate for lsu.

I just stated a couple of facts. If we find out that he told lsu his plans, no worries I guess. But its concerning that no one on lsu's side mentioned this. I don't recall seeing the Vincent info in jimmys recruiting chat this week or hearing about it from Shea on his radio broadcast. That's why I wouldn't dismiss this as a nothing yet. Also, it was odd that in mid December Texas mods repeatedly wrote how upbeat they were about vincent. everyone only wants positive news but it's but if we are going to discuss things sometimes they will be negative. It is what itis.

Vincent is lsu' biggest recruiter. "They would have to shut the lsu football program down for me to go elsewhere" Vincent's words. I'm not worried at all. Either this kid is a great actor or he really wants to be at lsu. And I going to go with he really wants to be at lsu.

I wish I can remember the article, but this isn't really last minute. The piece mentioned that Vincent was going to be at Texas with Chaisson to be in his ear the whole time about LSU

Thats what I was thinking at worst he probably will be able to give the staff a heads up if Chassion gives a silent commit to Texas, so we can push harder for Bryant while he is on campus.
