Not sure, he was dismissed from the team at Tennessee, but I don’t know if that matters because he was still considered portal.

He's one of the ones I listed a few days back when people asked about Leonard being a top 5 portal QB. There are way better options that are in the portal and could be, than Leonard. Salter is one of them.
Salter is a Jayden Daniels type player, but shorter. He was a top 145 overall player out of high school from Texas and ran track.
LSU is not going to get any of them unless they offer them a legit chance to start. If they are looking for an experienced backup, there are many crappy or below average QBs from several bad power 5 schools in the portal.
