They obviously don't do background checks or Holmes would have never gotten that job

Crutchfield better be a little more concerned about winning football games at St. Aug. He ain't playin' Crescent City and Ecole Classique anymore.
His lack of discipline within his program that everyone has witnessed will not bode well when he faces the likes of Rummel.

Having an friend at St Aug is not a negative for Saban of course, I just don't think it really matters in a tangible way. What ever influence the coach has will not be the deciding factor, a factor, OK, the factor, no, not for more than one or 2 recruits here and there if that.

I wonder if St Aug is gonna hire that toolbag Robert Smith from ESPN to coach RBs next.

Please someone else tell us how chicken little this whole thing is now.

Is his pattern to steer kids out of state or was it just this past year? Also kids that come from the Aug's parents will not allow a coach to be heavily involved in the recruiting process as he was out there.

Now I'm officially upset with the Archdiocese. They need to step in and force background checks. This is really getting me down on my local Catholic leadership. Especially when I have witnessed the archdiocese preventing hires and firing school teachers and administration first hand because of scandal and behavior.

I heard he hit a kid. Don't know the full story.

Yeah that is dead on. Those parents care and are very involved. My issue is that you are going to have a 3-4 set up at st aug with all the coaches telling the kids for 4 years that the best defenses are 3-4 and that the elite guys could only dream of being chosen by saban.

Yes. I know we talked about it already and athletics are not treated as stringent by the archdiocese but I am sure there are at least background checks involved or should be if following the rules and protocol.
I did not know that it was paddling other than knowing that he was in trouble for hitting a kid.
I appreciate the info you bring though delarge

dont mention coming out of his own pocket to drive LA players to bama for unofficials and camps, while blatantly ignoring the same offers from LSU.

I have heard that they will run a basic 4-3 bu I don't know about that.
