Actually he was # 2. Everson Griffin and Clausen were the # 1s.

Because there is a ton of drop of from colleges interested in the #1 recruit in the country than the guy who is ranked #2.

As I stated, JM got more fanfare here in BR LA and in Louisiana.

Actually he was #2. Just like Rueben Randle.

Do you think any of these kids DON'T get pressured from their home state kids? You think in Cali all the kids at school are like "Hey man, I don't care where you go to college, surfs up!"?

What is it about USC posters and their misguided arrogance? I'd wait for my team to stop falling flat on their face every year before I got that kind of delusion of grandeur.

You can state that all you want, but it doesn't make it true.

The bottom line is: Joe did not leave LSU because of LSU fans. Im pretty sure recruiting is a little more indepth than what some kid reads on a message board on the internet.

Bottom line is: Overzealous nut jobs fans in his home state played a part in Joe not going to LSU. We are not talking abot message boards or the internet. Talking about phone messages and comments when he comes across people on the street. Why do you have such a difficult time believing that the #1 ATH recruit hard anyone could get turned off.

JM did not live in Cali. Fans here in BR and the south are more passionate and zealous.

How do you define falling flat on their face? A four loss season? a five loss season?

Because it did not happen. What cant you understand about this?

If Joe McKnight liked LSU why would he let LSU fans annoy him? I love LSU and if I were a top recruit and everywhere I went LSU fans were tellig me to go to LSU and I need to stay instate and rep my state and be apart of LSU I would frickING LOVE IT!!!!!

He didnt like LSU you dumb bitch. Is that so hard to understand?

Can I get a link to JM getting "more fanare in baton rouge and in Louisiana than RR"

Or is this something you fished out your arse too?

Because kicking your starting qb off the team before the season starts equals falling flat on you face.

Being picked to win the national title each of the last 6 years and losing to teams like Stanford and Oregon State each time to blow it. Having more talent on the field than anybody in the history of college football and only possessing 1 National title in the last 30 years.

Every year, after USC has lost to a team they should have blown out, we get to hear USC fan complain that they're the best team in the country and should be playing for a national championship. Stop losing to double digit underdogs and we wouldn't have this problem.

Well, I read that it did and it is certainly not far fetched.

No one implied he was a passionate LSU fan.

Nice 5th grade name calling. You just lost what little credibility you had. I love it!

When did Joe tell you this? Or where did you read this? or is this just more speculation on your part? Again, just because something comes out of your mouth doesn't make it a fact. For example, I have a 10 inch cock. That doesn't make it the truth, my cock's actually 12 inches.

I think SC started #1 two maybe three times, not six. They have two NC's in the last 8 years, not one in the last 30.

Well, if you read it in a book it must be true.

Nope, 1 in the last 30. If you don't play in the National Championship Game that you signed up for before the season, how do you win a national championship? Sure the AP voted USC #1, but that's not the title everybody was playing for from the beginning. If that counts as a national championship, LSU won 13 National Championships last year, 1 from each media outlet that voted LSU the best team.

That would be like declaring the Patriots National Champions last year after losing the Superbowl. You can do it, you just sound like an idiot when you do.

You make that statement based on McKnight's comments in a prepared interview with an ESPN Sportswriter after the fact? Obviously then you consider McKnight to be honest and forthright albeit scripted in this instance. Do you also then believe Carroll was dirty as hell in the kid's recruitment based on McKnight's extemporaneous Reggie Bush Confessions on NSD?

Let's just pause to consider odds of veracity vs duplicity in the statements you're referrencing. McKnight's fellow state residents "drove him elsewhere" simply because they suggested that LSU was where he should go to school? Do you think there might be a slight possibility of ulterior motive in that idiotic contention? Does it make a sintella of sense? He chose USC because less people were suggesting he go there? REALLY?

Kind of an OJ-is-innocent belief system isn't it?

I don't think every person who chimed in or voiced their thoughts merely "suggested" he go to LSU. I think there was a miniroty who went over the top and it woudl not suprise me if there were veiled threats. Most high profile recruits shrug that stuff off. It what was written was true, Joe did not.
