Fong had an interview posted with him yesterday that referenced that TEX visit being his last before his decision. Wasn’t a direct quote but was attributed to Jonah saying it.

It literally says in the report you posted that he rescheduled to next week. Better for us that way.

To be fair, there are conflicting reports of whether he will actually visit or not. Billy and Shea don't even know. They only know what was said prior to the Wiltfong article. No need to belittle him over info that's newer than yours. Yet you speak as if the visit is a guarantee. Our insiders have said they dont know if it's happening or not. Somebody is wrong. Yet none of us know who. Considering Texas got their visit and we got canceled on, his side is currently out front. A bird in hand is better than 2 in the trees.
That said, it could be that Wiltfong messed up whether on accident or purpose with that little bit. It wasn't a direct quote. Just implied. I'm no fan of the "Fong Bomb". He's had a tough cycle. The kids are definitely winning the info wars.
For the record, I believe he will visit. Also believe whoever he commits to in August is just the current leader. Wouldn't get too attached no matter who it is. But he can't be bought. Believe what you will about the schools in his recruitment and their affinity for being major NIL players. LSU included.

In fairness, TEX needs a big win this cycle. They haven’t been the choice for a lot of guys they were targeting. So would make sense they’d drop fat bags for Williams and Terry.

I just don’t see how Texas could go from not even remotely in this recruitment to winning it after just one visit. Obviously not a good sign if he doesn’t make it in but I’m not sure Texas would automatically be the pick. Even their on3 mods agree they have ground to make up in his recruitment and they are the biggest homers on any site

Who is gloating? This is a shitty situation but we’ve kicked butt overall. Non stop sunshine pumping regardless of the situation does no one any good.

You have to take what all these insiders say with a grain of salt. They’re reporting what they’re hearing but doesn’t mean that’s the full story. I’m sure TEX has stayed in touch with him and been recruiting him hard the same as every other school, we just don’t see that. Same as Wiley surprising everybody with FSU, or Pickett with picking us. You just never know.

It just makes zero sense that Jay would go in-home and tell him all of his assistants will be available next week for a visit and then he cancels all visits together and completely cuts LSU out. lol that makes no sense at all saying it out loud.

He has been to LSU multiple times. Jay went to his house. Maybe he doesn’t need to go back to know he wants to go the LSU.

Well that’s what I’m saying. If anything it’s because he set on going here. Makes zero sense that he would just cut us off all of the sudden with all of the momentum and a visit from the best baseball coach in the country.
