For me losing Valentine would be a huge disappointment. I think we need a big space eater on the DL and TV offers that. Since we play light at LB in the 220-235 range, we need DTs that command doubles to keep the LBs free to flow to the ball.
I might br into your post incorrectly but I don't th that "pace eater" is what Chavis wants. If that was so then Al Woods would have been a starter back in his day.
Chavis needs guys at DT who will get penetration and disrupt plays which usually makes them require to be double teamed anyway. Chavis doesn't necc dislike the big body types over 330lb who would be labelled NTs as long as they penetrate. That is the most important thing.
The guys who can get that penetration and still not allow the RB to get past him on running plays are the guys who go on their first round draft days.

I'm not adoree
and unfortunately my source is seeming more right on our finish. Carter, per 247 sports, has informed the florida staff he's signing with georgia.
Finish still looking like this.
1) Dupre
2) Valentine
3) Trey LMFAO
4) Adoree Jackson
5) Siohne
6) McCray or Young. (Still think Young is going to UCLA)
The two hardest recruits to read on our board are Porter and Young. Like previously mentioned, Porter changes his mind like his underwear. Young has been tightlipped about the entire process, he seems to be in love with the UCLA atmosphere. Hopefully being so far away from home gets to him, because if it's not him, it'll be McCray
