With degrees from both LSU and Tulane, I'm here to say that if you think you're superior for paying $30K a year for about the same education, you're the definition of pretentious. Stupid little ol LSU grads filled 3 of the top 10 spots from my graduating class at Tulane Law. The double-Tulanians did not fare so well.

As for Powe, good for him. He may not be inherently intelligent, but he does have a talent and by working hard in an area of what has to be embarrassing weakness, he will get to try to use that talent for the betterment of his lot in life. To him,

OK, now he's officially a Rebel so I hate him.

glad to hear a phenominal physical talent didnt just give up. I applaud him for working to get there and hope nothing but the best for him.
