Jeremy Liggins vs. Quentin Wheeler

After the recent news of Liggins and his move to MGCCC I thought this would be a good discussion. Quentin Wheeler, former Ouachita HS QB and the recent Off. MVP in the Bayou Bowl has also signed to play QB there. Now there is no doubt the Wheller is an ath. but not the biggest guy when it comes to QB's these days(of course JL is another story). Anyway, my question is do you think JL beats out Wheeler and if not do you think there is a chance LSU could bring Wheeler in instead of Liggins after a couple of years. I'll hang up and listen.

He's not LSU caliber. Maybe MSU after a year or two in JUCO. Great athlete, wish him the best.

quote:No. I doubt we bring Liggins back either. I don't think Miles has ever re-signed a former signee out of JUCO since he has been here.

Agree. I think If Liggins ends up actually spending the 2 years at juco then he will not be brought back. We shouldn't need a juco qb at that point. If he's a DL and we need one then maybe but I doubt it. It appears we aren't going to take Alonzo Lewis back from juco either and he's an instate kid. It's a risk that the kids that don't qualify take.
