As much as you guys claimed how much of an impact he was going to make, he has been a disappointment.

That's on you guys. I understand that was about 95% flaming, but it is what it is. For a #1 WR prospect, you have to admit that you would have like to see more than what you have seen. Same thing here with Russel Shepard.

Good point. I ask you AM. Who would you rather? Beckham or Reed?

I agree. But as much as I want to be disappointed, our QBs sucked worse than JJ and JL. I'm going to give him another shot and hopefully he'll have a few more opportunities with Frazier taking over

At this point, Beckham. Kid looked really good last year

I think Frazier is going to be good fwiw. Just to go along with giving time to a QB to adjust and learn the game. Frazier is just one of many players that fits my argument.

We told y'all when reed signed that he wasn't even the best wr in the state fwiw. Landry was better than he and OBJ. Nobody expected Odell to emerge like that though.

Yeah, I don't think we should have forced Frazier into running wildcat packages last season. It was just a waste. LSU handled Mett's situation correctly IMO, I wish we would have done the same and RS'ed Frazier

Same here. After watching his film and seeing that other thread, this is one helluva relief.

We can't afford to hold the scholly. We need qbs now. If Mett goes pro...

Mett going pro after the 2012 season needed to be handled 2 years ago. If he leaves this year and the best QB we have is one signed in 2013, we are in serious trouble.

He is really raw, not saying he can't make a decent QB down the road but he is a project. Just don't see him ever being a significant contributor on the next level. He is a chunker, got a lot of work to do to become a passer at the next level.

While Johnson will need to fix his mechanics, the talent is there. AU likes him so much that they will not sign another QB for 2013. Interesting that he is same size as Cam when he was a HS Jr-

Which is why he won't play until Frazier is gone, if he beats out Zeke.

Good luck with it.. We all have opinions and don't have the information coaches have, just wasn't a fan of Johnson even when it was rumored that LSU was high on the guy. Most QB's are projects in one way or another, he may come around.

Yeah, I'm gonna have to go with the evaluations of Auburn and LSU coaches over those of message board posters

On another note, who personally do you guys want LSU to get in this QB class?
