said they recruited Zach Root and didn’t get him. Wonder what the recruiting story was behind Gaeckle? Gaeckle is from California and Jay seems to have a pretty good pulse on west coast kids. I like Gaeckle as much as Root. Man, if LSU had gotten either one of those guys! Glad we have the team we do. Like Jay said, we don’t need every great player…just the right ones.

I’m not sure there is much to the story besides Arkansas being a really appealing option. Their baseball facilities are incredible and I’m sure their NIL is similar to ours.
