Reed comes here he's immediately in contention for the slot/3rd WR behind Tolliver and Randle.. matter of fact he and Davis could become a beastily true freshman tandem at that spot if JJ keeps progressing like he has
One would think that the "hey, we have a new four wheeler! Let's go ride it without inspecting it immediately!" way of thinking would have subsided since this board has been here a while, but apparently not.
If Reed were to select LSU, what has he done to immediately step into the 3rd slot WR spot over a say, Chris Tolliver?

This is what LSU has told him, That he would have to Redshirt next year. AU is telling him he will play next year. I can see why LSU wants him to Redshirt, so he can get Bigger to hold uo to the SEC pounding.

What has Tolliver done to cement that 3rd WR spot?

the same thing that RJ Jackson had done before this year to start the year as the #3 guy: been on the roster longer.

He's practiced with the team for 2 years. Been studying the same playbook for 2 years. Next year will be his 3rd and there will be Seniors that will no longer be on the depth chart.
Any more brain busters?

dont recall ever saying he would "immediately step in".. i said he would immediately be in contention, whether or not he gets it is yet to be seen but the kid is obviously talented enough to present serious competition for the spot.. nothing i've seen from Tolliver gurantees him that spot next season

RJ Jackson at least got some real PT in the big games the past year or two, even if it was just to make sure the defense knew we were running on that play. Tolliver plays with 30 seconds left against cupcakes.

Miles favors the upperclassman, man. Do you not know that? Tolliver was every bit as heralded as Reed coming out. Hes just been behind better players. Hes solid WR and will have to play very poor or get injured to surrender his spot to a true freshman in Reed.

Proves that he knows more than Reed which in turn gives Tolliver the advantage.

I know it's not completely the same, but you know damn good and well that Miles goes with seniority until the younger player steps up and takes the position.

I'm sure Tolliver knows every knook and crany of the playbook. He just sucks and can't get on the field as a RS Freshman.
Because we all know that RS Freshmen get on the field 98% of the time over seniors that have probably showed more in practices.
We don't like to have patience around here. Put them in now and lets see what happens. When they do frick up, that's good too because we can blame the coach and prove the agendas around here correct.

i've just been reading this board off and on for the past few weeks and thought i'd chime in to put some peoples mind at ease.
Jarvis knows the LSU fanbase loves him.
so does trovon. both will stay close to home. it means a lot to them.
there is some flirtation with auburn, but nothing serious.

Don't forget that he's had time to become more physically developed. Also, before his injury wasn't C. Tolliver looking really good in practice?

As much as I would hate for AU lose Trovon, I'll be LMAO if he commits to LSU and everyone on here starts hyping him up after bashing him for the past week.

No the Auburn thing is real. I hope he sides with LSU and his Family!!!

Saying there are better kids on the board IS NOT BASHING TROVON!!!!
You need to go back to banging your sister instead of posting on the recruiting board!!!!!!
