Not every coach is too recruiter! His main Job is coaching and he is great at that. We have several great recruiters to pick up that slack

LSU pulls 3 DL from portal
To a degree, I agree with the OP. Instead of the 5-Star studs that Bama and other blue bloods are signing, we get three guys from the portal who were 3 stars out of HS.
Seems we're never in contention for 5-star DL guys. Needs to change at some point if we're going to compete at the highest level again. Otherwise, we'll continue to get run over like we did at Texas S&M.

There is a 3 * named Bourda out of St Aug that hasn’t signed yet.
