I figure all of the kids would be off campus immediately after yesterday's news. And there will be huge outcry if one of the guys was making arrangements to go home but couldn't get in touch and is therefore forced to stay in Knoxville.

Correct me if im wrong but Smith was packed and ready to go when he got the news. He never made it to campus.

Doesn't matter,the NCAA should allow transfer,because this meets their criteria of exceptional circumstances. We shall see!

All this talk is pure speculation.No one knows where Smith is but he and his family/friends.WE will all know when he decides and tells people.I'm not going to believe any sites or Tennessee fans word right now.Tennessee fans are grasping at anything with some hope in it right now and the sites are in the business of making money.When someone has some qoutes from the kid I'll listen.

I know the AD is trying to save the class....but trying to trap a kid after entire just bolted to USC...on the eve of classes starting.
I am sorry, but that isn't going to fly at the NCAA...
aint no way...if the kid wants to leave, he should be granted, PERIOD!

I'm saying it's not suggested anywhere that these kids were scrambling to leave yesterday/this a.m. and were trapped there by the admin

One of UT administrators was on there earlier and he said He would Not allow them out of their LOI and that if they wanted to transfer they would face NCAA sanctions.
