He's a .500 coach in the NFL.
Father time and his stressful lifestyle will take care of him soon enough.

Yes it's true he is visiting Bama. Burns Called him in my presence yesterday. Good news is he was going to let me answer the phone and tiger bait him but Burns hung up. Bad news is that 88 is showing some signs of interest in other places and thats a fact. He is a good kid I think he will honor his commitment.

he doesn't have anyone left to go after, so now he is on the defensive. too little, too late.
Don't understand why we don't go visit each and every one of their commits. A lot.

This is exactly what I'm talking about. Saban is like 2 years older than Les - not 20 years older. They are in the exact same profession, yet some of our fans claim "father time and his stressful lifestyle will take care of him soon enough". Father time and stress only impact other coaches. not our's. It's Buccwild level homerism.
I LOVE the passion, but wish we had more level headed posters sometimes.

Ask him why visit the one school that will be his biggest obstacle to winning a NC?
Assuming he stayed with LSU
Just don't get it

You mad bro?
Relax. You ever see Les melt down on the sideline and attack his players up 21 points on the road and/or look like he's about to have a coronary over an incomplete pass? Cause the angry little man from West Virginia does - all the time.
(Of course, Spurrier is still going strong - thriving on it - but he has rolled back some of that rage from his younger years - I just don't see Nicholas Lou Saban doing that any time soon.)

I respect what you are saying and yes kids do want to feel that kind of treatment but he has expressed to me that he is still interested in a couple other schools. OM and Bama. I can tell you for sure that he is a little bit on the fence right now.

Doesn't he recruit for lsu or has in the past? On the fence makes it seem 50/50

understanding how their respective approaches to life and work differ from a health and longevity standpoint is not homerism...

not at all.

Sometimes I wish we would see more fire out of Les. I love his personality 90% of the time, but I'd like to see him get a little heated from time to time. LSU has greater than or equal to talent of any team in the SEC with the possible (slim possibility) of Bama. There is no excuse for losing to Ole Miss' 2nd string, or getting shut out in the BCSNCG. Shouldn't happen at LSU. That's not the kind of program LSU is - especially not after he's been here 9 years.
Like I said, I love the guy 90% of the time, but he's not perfect either.

I understand Bama, though I wouldn't go there if I planned on living in Louisiana after football, but I just don't understand Ole Miss. The last players to win an SEC Championship at Ole Miss were born during WWII. For over 50 years kids have been faced with deciding whether a championship was more likely at LSU or Ole Miss and not one single time was Ole Miss the correct choice.

Well not smart on Burns part if this is true. I got the impression from LE after he committed that he was glad the recruiting process was over as he did not enjoy it. He was looking forward to be done with it. That's why he hasn't actively recruited anyone for us because he knew they already are being bombarded. Could be off base but just what I took from his commitment interview.
