I’ll bet a lot of money when it’s all said and done LSU holds on to a New Iberia boy. The only one I can think of that we didn’t hold on to was that TE that we didn’t even pay attention to until the end and he went to Bama to be forgot about.

Never burn bridges players or coaches. This might be the worst advice to anyone with how portal is now. Some of these kids are make biggest decision of they life for the first time. Some will get it right the first time and some will not but that's ok.

True, but look at this year vs last.
2023 they played A&M, UNC, FSU, Clemson, NC State and a better Louisville team.
2024 they have UF, FSU, and what is likely a down year Duke, Louisville and Wake.

Miami has a very weak schedule which will create the false perception that they are a decent team. 9-3 or 10-2 are very achievable.
You are talking about a Les Miles-level tactician who lost a game to a weaker team last year because he didn’t have sense enough to take a fricking knee and run out the clock.

Miami secondary was bad last year. Miami pulled a fsu this year by going in the portal. There team is very top heavy and have no depth. It's either going to be boom or bust for them this year.
Miami has a squad to win their conference, but i don't think they have the depth for a playoff run.

Must be nice. Load up on players so you can make a playoff run
Just like Ole Miss, they'll try for this year, and both will miss the mark.

We are in the most volatile era of CFB where kids can leave at the drop of a hat. Where depth is flimsy and as best as you can do is hope some transfer kid from a less talented school than yours, can plug some holes. Kelly is doing it the right way. You can't be attached to LSU just because of money. You can't be attached to LSU, if you don't love the school and staff. Guys like that with fragile attachments are easy transfer flags.
