Obviously watching Hudson & Ruston’s RB. Sorry, name has escaped me. RB has made some good runs early, one for a long TD. Hudson looks good. Anding has made a tackle or 2 so far. Ruston is playing Captain Shreve. Shreve has Kendrick Law’s younger brother. That’s all I got.

RB Dalen Powell will be the Louisiana D1 non-select POTY. He's a touchdown machine who runs like Derrick Henry and has a nasty stiff arm that tosses defenders off him. He catches passes out of the back field like a receiver. He returns punts and kicks with natural ability.

I usually downplay kids I've seen in person. Meh he's aight, I don't think he will explode on the scene at the next level. It will take several years for him to acclimate. Etc.

Not with this kid. He's legit. He's better than advertised. He basically singlehandedly beat WM last year...and didn't play the second half. He had 2 rushing, 1 punt return, and 1 kick return for touchdowns in the first half. They won 48-44. WM lost 2-3 games the last 20 years in Freshmen football. One of those was him again by himself. 20-14 winner. He had a pick 6 at safety, another pick, and two rushing touchdowns.

If he doesn't break his leg against WM, Ruston wins state EASILY last year. I really hope he goes to LSU. He's a game changer.

I just watched his soph highlights. The kid is listed at 190 but plays like he's 220. He runs through and over defenders. I'm curious to see how much more he develops the next couple years. No one is going to want to tackle this kid.

He was definitely above everyone else out there yesterday. I mean aside from Hudson. He looks like he could add more weight and not affect his speed. Not that he needs that much more weight. But he is definitely like you all have described. Of course, Smith waited around for him and had a conversation with him after the game. Cox came over as well. Hudson was wearing LSU gloves and and LSU headband so that trumps the socks, right? There was another LSU guy there but not sure who he was. Not an on field coach. Ruston looked good overall. Shreve is working in new QBs but if they can get some consistency from the QB and O line they will be decent.
