Meant to put aren't doubting that

I've been out of the A&M news since graduating from there, is the new d-coordinator a 3-4 or 4-3 guy?

4-3

May I ask why you don't pull for A&M, since you went there?

Pull for A&M only when they aren't playing LSU

Dad is an LSU alum so I was raised an LSU fan

Yeah, I know

19 years of only being an LSU fan was too much of a pull to fully become only an A&M fan. Still love the school and talk to a lot of the athletes that were there with me. Taking sports management puts you in a lot of their classes

Not really. Lots of people who followed LSU from a young age do not switch allegiances. I am enrolled at a university other than LSU because it offered a campus abroad where I can study international business in a major world financial hub. I still choose to follow LSU because it's a great program and will take a lot for me to ever change my mind.

Right, but Aggies are unusually passionate about their school. He represents the exception, which is fine.

Every school has defects. I had a room mate who went to school at TAMU but was a Longhorns fan because that is what he grew up watching.

Yeah, I knew a couple longhorn fans that attended A&M. I also grew up an LSU fan but after am all Aggie now.

And Golden says he's shutting down his recruitment. We'll see if that sticks. If he does shut it down he will be a 3 star since national sites put so much into offer lists and he won't have one

He can say that in Jan 2012 but we all know how that goes come fall 2012. He'll look around once other schools start pulling at him hard. Doesn't mean he won't stick just that he'll look around like all kids do. Who knows we may not even offer him. Never know what our coaches are thinking.

Quite the opposite.
Glad we have an expert here that knows the inter workings of the teenage mind.

DT is definitely a need in 2013 and the state looks loaded with skill positions and a few TEs and LBers. Are there any DT prospects instate for 2013?

I am not worried, its very early and a long way to go. The only thing that worries is how hard we continue to recruit these guys after they comitt.

Ya I think it time for a breather. I will take it after Feb 4.

None instate that's why we are looking at 3 Dts in Texas. We need to go after manning hard if golden is really solid to a& M like some are saying.

Tell me more about Manning. Also, who is the 3rd target from Tx?

Vincent Taylor, a little undersized but can grow into a dt.
He not as good as the other two.

Manning likes ou a lot right now. His top 3 is ou, lsu, and Texas in that order.

I always thought golden would be our best shot but this Aggies news has just shocked me.

It's a good year for Dt's in Texas. Manning, Golden , Vincent Taylor, A'shawn Robinson and a few others that will play big time football.

How confident are you in holding on to golden. I know you are also recruiting manning but how many Dts will you take. Any guesses or predictions for those prospects?
