The O haters are a lot like the never Trumpers. They will discount the successes and cry about style points.

I’ve been very clear in my distaste of the Orgeron hire. I still don’t think it is what’s best for us. With that said, even Orgeron is smarter than Trump. Dude is off his freaking rocker if he believes we can bully everyone around. It doesn’t work for peace.
It’s about winning wars and not stroking your egos with tiny battles.

Drama is never over. We still have to argue over who the final four will be and let's not forget what will happen when a player transfers or leaves the team this spring. It happens every year and this year will be no exception.

On the other hand there will be celebration over whoever we end up with and sheer joy over the arrival of some transfer or other this summer.

Keep up the good fight. History will prove you to have been smarter and classier than the rest of us. You just have to stick to your guns.

The rant is just like the country. Almost 50/50 split in upvotes and downvotes to your post. We are truly divided.

You can keep telling yourself that but not really. Original Tiger1988 post is almost 100% down votes. The few votes for LSU Patrick are split, but that post doesn't quote the original, so most people who downvoted the original didn't bother with the follow up.

The country isn't divided 50/50, but the vocal minority make it sound that way. I'm not a Trump fan either, but it's the truth.

Also, this is Recruiting, not the poli board, so try to stay on topic.

Then go be a fan of Alcorn St. No one really gives a shite what your opinion of Coach O is.

This is not comparable at all. The O haters are just salty because they hated the hire and they don’t want to ever be wrong about that. For Trump, on the other hand, “Style points” do matter because he’s the fricking president and affects how the world views/interacts with our country/ who wants to go to war with us

Does anybody have an opinion as to whether there is some strategic advantage to Coach O not addressing whether the way they added the Kicker counts against a hard 25 cap? Does he want folks to think maybe he does or does not have another spot? or maybe is appealing to get another one based on something this or last year? Or can claim another based on how the kicker was signed?
What are your thoughts? Is it better for LSU to hold these cards close and silent? Not sure that approach with Canada has worked out very well in recruiting, but may be it was avoidable?

. True Fans of LSU ALWAYS understand the end game. It isn’t about medocrity or worse.
There isn’t a SOUL on this site or in the country, outside of MAYBE ORGERON, that REALLY believes he will get us a National Championship.
If that is the case, then why waste our money and time only to fall further behind?
Us fans, that are TRUE FANS and care about what’s best for LSU instead of kids that have never left the swamp, know the score.

Put your money where your tough guy smart arse opinions are and support the university endowment and TAF like I have for as long as I have and come see me. Until then, I don’t give 2 shits to what you or anyone else thinks on this site about my dedication to MY university.

Proud Alum of 1972.

The latter. It will always be something. Not really sure about before the 60's, but a segment has, at some time if not all the time, hated every coach since Cholly Mac. Some may have deserved it to varying degrees, but they all received a dose of that particular venom. Guess it's just human nature. Grass is always greener........

With all of the negativity and vitriol on here towards a 13-0 team going play for a national championship. No, the drama and bitchiness will never stop.
