yep... i think that's where we are basically headed for college football now... HS recruiting is not nearly as important anymore, though you still want to recruit that best, but hitting the portal for specific needs, that seems to be the best bang for the buck now

Ideally, May is when you'd sign 1 or 2 key players that provide valuable veteran depth with the possibility of starting. You really want transfers in for spring ball.
