truly a clearinghouse issue? Does anyone know for sure?
Maybe the team kept him from enrolling early in order to not scare off the likes of Randle and Kelly??
Just a thought, I am sure I'll get blasted.

I have definately not seen anything definative on D Benton... Although my post above may not make any sense to yall, It sure would be nice to know the actual truth behind him. I have heard many different stories.

all indications where DB enrolling this spring, he has taken the tests, and its reported he scored adequately enough to enroll..all his work has been sent to the clearinghouse, it was not finalized by start of spring semester, he should be able to start class this summer, if not, then definately by fall.

he starts this summer. i believe he has one last class left.

His situation is much different than most athletes concerning getting cleared, since he graduated HS, went to Prep School, then took courses again back in Bastrop. They will take their time to investigate and make sure everything is legit. Just be patient. Same thing happened to Pratt with much less circumstances involving his transcript.

wait i can do you one even better. I was thinking for a while that the reason jefferson wasn't playing this season was to not scare of shepard
