Is Aaron Brule a possibility for this class?

If LSU fails to sign some of the final targets (specifically Kelvin Joseph) is Aaron Brule (Rummel S, OLB) in play? Or would ArDarius Washington likely fill Joseph's spot?

No, we don’t seem to have any interest in him. I think Joseph is 99.9% Tiger and Brule has a crap ton of CB’s to TCU for a reason. Only thing that scares me is that TCU is offering him for a package deal to get Chase. That’s not something we’d do otherwise we would already have done it. If there’s anybody out there’s opinions I’d trust of DB talent we want it’s Aranda and Raymond, and if we haven’t offered him yet it’s simply because we have other greater interests.

I would rather have Ardarius Washington who is a much better player than Brule, but the truth is Washington may have squeezed himself out by not committing early. It's really limited now with who they can take.

I think Washington will end up signing with TCU. LSU has bigger fish to reel in.

Agree but if we miss on someone... There will be questions.
Brulé is a LB and we don't need LBs. We need DBs and a QB(which we aren't gonna get it seems). Chase is only a take because he's considered elite and we've put a ton of time and effort in on him.

That is the thing with the 25/85 scholarship limits. There is no way we can sign all of the good WR/DB in state. Plus, you know that Raymond likes larger DB in general. If you look at Surtain, Joseph, and Goodrich, you see guys 6'1" or better.
