Interesting Recruiting Topic with Florida under Meyer

Besides the gross amount of attrition they've had, every year since Meyer has become head coach UF has lost 1 player to FSU near signing day.
2006: Damon McDaniel
2007: Patrick Robinson
2008: Bert Reed
2009: Greg Reid
2010: Demar Dorsey
Strange trend.

academics is part of the reason, I know Reid was questionable for qualifying and Dorsey has a lot of work to do if he wants to qualify for UF. They can enjoy going 6-6 and never beating UF in their careers though.

That's not going to last forever. I don't know if Jimbo is the answer necessarily but things will change now.

how are things going to change now? don't kid yourself if you think jimbo will make a difference...bobby was just a figurehead the past couple years...he did nothing but stand on the sidelines without a headset...jimbo couldnt do anything then and he wont do anything now

Jimbo isn't the only thing different and I think they'll make much greater strides under him than gators expect.

Until FSU recruits well on the OL and DL...and coach those players up...they will continue to struggle.
Soft lines has been the trademark of FSU for the past 5-6 years. They struggle to run the ball and struggle to get a pass rush and contain the QB.

Florida picked up a 5 star from Philadelphia today, a DT.
Florida is now recruiting nationally.
This is VERY bad news for LSU fans.
All the uproar about Urban's stress related retirement, and unretirement - really helped him with national recruiting.
