I'm worried about Noah Cain...

******EDIT: Apparently Noah Cain made a 4.41 40 lazered this morning. His junior year was a 4.65. That is a massive difference. We will see soon just how good Noah is. I'm really excited to see how he plays in the coming months. Every positive I have mentioned below with a 4.4 speed, he could easily end up being ranked #1 again. I hope we land him even more now.
First off I'm going to point out that he is doing great things in high school. But I'm worried he won't do as well in college. The kid is strong, like ridiculously strong. Every play he drags 2-3 players wrapped around him. His footwork and balance is incredible, and hr has impeccable vision. But... he is slow... God is he slow... he doesn't outrun ANYONE, he drags them into the endzone with him. I just don't see him being able to do that in college. Hell his power looks as good as fournette, he just slow... I feel he would be great on short yardage and pounding the field, but he doesn't have any breakaway...

Has anyone else gotten concerned about this after watching his tape? Does anyone know his official 40 time? We have Tyrion who is fast as frick with good power and skills, but I'm just worried cain won't transition well, and I feel that is why his recruiting stock has dropped so much.

I know this it a LSU board and the only thing 90% of the people on here do is auto downvote a thread without comment. But for fricks sake if you are gonna downvote me at least tell me why I'm wrong. Have the courtesy to state your point. Hell I would love to know why I'm wrong and why cain is much better than I think.(I think he will be fine BTW, just not fast enough for homeruns)
In fact I think he is the best power back in the class. He just needs to work on his speed.

Are you joking? Didn't he run a laser timed 4.51 at a camp this summer. That's stupid fast for a guy at 230 pounds.

I feel Darrell William's looks faster than cain, I could be wrong though. I've seen Darrell outrun plenty of times.

He definitely isn't quick or fast in pads.
Has good vision and great power. IMO he should be a mid-range 4*, but that is still good.
Obviously Emery is the electric playmaking back we've come to expect, but I'm not going to cry if we get Tyrion and Cain. That's a very solid 1-2 punch. We will be hard after a certain player in Texas next year that looks all world good.

I'm a clown? Lol that's good. Clearly you didn't see my post. I'm worried about his breakaway in college, I didn't say I didn't want him. Hell I think he is definitely one of the best backs in the class and i absolutely love his tape. I just don't know how many times he is going to be able to break 2-5 tackles per play, since it doesn't seem he can out speed most dbs. He will be a fantastic short yardage back and will absolutely punish holes in the line for 10-30yds. I just don't see him hitting those 30+yard plays. Which is fine since we have faster backs coming. His hands are great, he can stiff arm, has incredible footwork/balance, and excellent vision. He is just lacking in top speed, based on what I have seen.

It doesn't but he also gets tackled from behind constantly on runs that would have been TDs.

Also was this with pads on? Cuz there is no way he runs that fast. That's what Tyrion is listed as and he looks like Usain bolt in comparison.
