I always thought it was a long shot and I believe it was predetermined a long time ago. However, I do not fault Orgeron. I think he and the staff did everything they could do.
Just like Cam Robinson was always going to Bama and Landon Collins.
IMO this more of a PR loss.
Signing Sopsher was more important in breaking the perception. However the staff cleaned up on Louisiana kids this year.
