This question is not hard to answer. Which position is more important, QB or S?

I assure you that I wasn't one of them. I was talking to a friend about "who I would give up" to get Keil. My response was that we haven't had a + guy at QB in so long that I would give up alot. Rohan Davey comes to mind. I don't even remember if he was as highly rated as Keil but I do remember that it was a surprise when we signed him.

LC did the choosing for us....seaux it goes.

I take Keil everytime...and I think most would agree. He can have a much greater impact on our program.

this....bigtime.

Keil is a keystone....as good as Landon is he would just be another brick in the wall. Reid and Loston have that covered so we have the luxury of time to reload at safety. good luck to all parties.

I do believe that Gunner Kiel represents the future of LSU football while Landon Collins is a reflection of current LSU football skill sets. This is confusing us when mixed with the emotional tug of losing hometown talent to our arch enemy.

Given Les Miles made press conference overtures and in home visits to Gunner Keil, and did not do an in home with Landon Collins, I think Les Miles understands his teams needs more than any of us could ever.

I trust in the coach on this one. I don't want to read too much into Les' not visiting... maybe he was saving it for a visit after the verbal before national signing day; or maybe the kid was flagged for character issues and narcissistic tendencies and they never really pushed for him. I doubt we'll know or care later...

JR and Perilloux were both huge qb recruits. So was Shep, but that's different.

Gunner all day. LSU will have a sick secondary as long as Cooper is on the staff, and top quality QBs are a much rarer commodity in Louisiana
