fact: he was asked to visit. No offer was extended by porter. DS is/was a backup plan in case other prospects fall through. He was told this straight up and did not like it. He is going to Bama.

I don't know the kid or any of the coaches that "supposedly" offered him but I like the list of schools that did offer him. According to Rivals, he was offered by UA, AU, Ark, Tenn, OU, Mich, Miami, and Texas A&M. According to Scout, he was offered by UA, Ark, LSU, Miami, OU, and Tenn. I don't know which site to believe or how they come to the conclusion that he was offered or not. Do they take the kids word for it or do they talk to the coaching staff?
