lots of recruits here tonight, great game, defense played outstanding, atmosphere and tailgaiting was at its max. A recruit can see we are only a qb and linebacker away from being in the hunt for the title.

I think we will here about it monday.

soften the blow anyway.

nope... no commitments, all our commitments have already renigged and committed to Bama. LSU is closing down tomorrow and Tiger Droppings will be gone by monday...

Nah i agree with you completely, recruits can see the problems and that they can be fixed. but judging by some of the fans on here its like we havent won a game all year.

I wonder what the recruits thought of fans booing their own players.

I thought the coaching was even. So don't give me that "miles is a horible coach shite" he stood toe to toe with saban.

The defense finally looked great. PP is going to be a stud. The only player that got the "boo" was Lee and he absolutely deserved it. I could have done a better job with Herman Johnson on my back and no arms! bench his arse

i honestly think this was one of the best things that could of happened for recruiting....
think about it:
the guys that were there realized how great of atmosphere they could play in week in and week out....plus they realized miles will and needs to play the younger guys (pp is proof)
i think we had a majr impact with these guys

At the very least I think Xavier Su'a-Filo will commit at some point this weekend.

I think if LSU didn't already have a QB commit they would get one on the spot.

I hope they get a LB commit considering how poor Shepard looks.

I agree with the d and PP but come on. You really want to bench Lee and put a TRUE FRESHMAN with ZERO experience in against a Saban coached defense on a team that is the #1 team in the country? Man I'm glad you're not the coach.

Could he possibly be any worse than Lee?

I really want KW at QB.

Images of DJ Shockley in the '03 Georgia game are coming to mind.

Shockley was FR in the mold of JJ and Saban absolutely obliterated him.

Lee didn't play well but not everything was his fault. If three passes had been caught his statline could have looked something like this: 16-34 250 yds. 3tds 2ints. Here's what I mean: One int hit D Byrd in the hands. Not anyone's fault b/c Byrd got popped and didn't hang on. Just bad luck. A wr screen was dropped by Lafell. That was a potential td if he catches it b/c no one was near him. The third pass was when Chris Mitchell dropped that deep bomb. that was a third potential td. I take away one int b/c if those three passes were caught we don't go into overtime. Bottom line: Our playmakers needed to help Lee out and they didn't. I'm not trying to be a Lee apologizer, I'm just pointing out mistakes all over.

if J. Lee could time a throw, that wouldn't be an issue.

Lafell's only drop came on a ball where he got drilled right after the catch. The first INT is all on Lee, no question about it and I am sick of people trying to spin it. He threw well behind Byrd into triple coverage. That's a bad throw, no question about it.

Other than Mitchell's drop, which hit his finger tips not his hands, there was one other drop when Lafell got drilled (as I mentioned earlier). Lee cost us the game single-handedly and you could see it in the players faces and body language after each of his INTs, plain and simple.

No Lafell did not drop only one. He did get drilled on one but he dropped one on a wr screen when no one touched him. It was somewhere around the Bama 20 yard line. I believe it was the possession that led to the eventual missed field goal. A rule for receivers is if it hits your hands you ought to catch it. I agree that the throw to Byrd was into coverage and wasn't the best decision but it was catchable. Jarrett Lee is to blame for most of this but I'm just saying that there are mistakes elsewhere that he doesn't have any control over.
