This wouldn’t be that huge of an issue if we had a legit coaching staff that could coach kids up.

I would rather have coaches that don’t have to rely on having the greatest talent to necessarily be successful.
You think Saban wins without elite talent? If you do you need to take a break from watching football.

If they've signed, then its ok by me. But silent commits that aren't committed bug me.

If I'm a parent of one of these kids, I would strongly be against committing until signing day. Verbal, hard, silent anything.

Give me (1) legitimate reason for not SIGNING on ESD?

-Gives more time to see how things unfold? Like coaching changes or scandals?

-Depending how things go it may open opportunity to receive more interest from other schools and keeps options open for other opportunities

-If you are mid star guy it allows you to see where the big time recruits sign and see where your best opportunity may be

-May legitimately not know where they want to sign yet? May also be saying out career choices for what degree program they actually want to pursue. Not a whole lot of time for kids to research and explore degree programs and campuses during the season

I’m kind of impressed that they’ve gotten the signatures that they’ve gotten all things considered. How can you blame a kid for wanting to wait and see who his coaches are actually going to be? There’s no telling what this staff is going to look like come Feb 3rd.

If I’m a recruit and I have the option of waiting to see who my coaches will be before signing, then I’d take that option. I’d rather that then have to immediately transfer following a coaching change.
