I know DL recruiting needs to step it up, but

please go watch De'Myrion Johnson’s highlights. I assumed like everyone he was just a body and DL depth piece for this class. But that kid really is skilled for a big guy and plays with an aggressive edge you like from your DL. We need to add many more to this position but he could end up a nice player for us and add a much needed serviceable body to that DL room.

I went to see him vs. Calvary several weeks ago and wasn’t overly impressed. That’s not to say he’s a bad player, just didn’t particularly stand out.
I like Ahmad Breaux a good bit more, as he is getting reps all across the DL under the tutelage of Kyle Williams. At 6’2.5” & 265-lbs., I don’t believe it will be a problem for him to bulk up to that 295-lbs. range and be someone that can play as a 3-tech.
If we can flip Reliford and get 2-3 guys from JUCO & the portal, we will be fine IMO.
Furthermore, I believe we have a decent shot of getting Mason Smith and Savion Jones to return next season because they haven’t exactly lit the world on fire this year…..

Technically, he & Maason Smith are draft eligible.

Watched him tonight versus STM. He made some plays but wasn't dominant. He may develop into a nice player by year 3. And having some in roads at Westgate is definitely a positive.
