Hypothetical Scenario to end 2021 Question

Assuming we have Saivion signed, that’s 21. And if we sign BTJ and Gilbert that sets us at 23. If by some miracle we snag Leigh, we currently have 2 other OL recruits CB’d to us and interest in Mako. Which of the 3 becomes our main focus to fill that 25th spot?

We aren't signing Gilbert if there is a chance we get 2 more OL.

I believe its Gilbert or BTJ for the same spot and then three OL.

Jimmy Smith is predicting we sign Gilbert and Thomas. I would say it depends a little bit on what Deculus and Ingram do. Wilson is the most likely option but Moko has the most upside.

It’s really 22 not 21. I think it’s safe to assume we are getting Kimo now that he dropped Florida State. If they get Leigh which I doubt happens then I suspect they would take both Gilbert and Thomas if they both wanted in and be happy with a 3 man OL class because 2 would blue chip tackle prospects in Leigh and Dellinger. If Leigh goes Florida or OU then I think they have to choose between Thomas or Gilbert and take both Moko and Wilson. With Wilson only having one year to play if you get Ingram and Deculus back then I’m not sure you take him because you’d be using a scholarship essentially on a 1 year backup OL unless they think he beats Hines out which wouldn’t be very hard.
